This public-owned campsite covers a large area of the Nishiki Onuma Park, built at the foot of a symbolic mountain in Tomakomai called Mt. Tarumae. Visitors can enjoy different styles of camping here thanks to a wide variety of facilities ranging from a site with water utilities and electric hookups to a site specially designed to be shared by several families. Canoeing in the swamp, mountain biking on the trails, and other fun activities make Arten the perfect destination for family camping. The good news for hot springs lovers is that a hot springs facility nearby can be used free of charge. Imagine...viewing the majestic mountain while bathing in an outdoor hot springs. The accommodation facilities including cabins and bungalows provide comfort to winter campers.
